You Just Might Be A Democrat If...

If you believe it’s okay to kill your own baby in your womb, but that hunting should be banned, you just might be a Democrat.

If you think invasive species are an existential threat to the United States, but that illegal aliens always enrich us with their presence, you just might be a Democrat.

If you think smoking cigarettes should be banned, but smoking marijuana should be legalized, you just might be a Democrat.

If you think the song “Baby, It’s Cold Outside” should be kept off the airwaves, yet happily sing Along to “WAP (Wet Ass P*ssy),” you just might be a Democrat.

If you are vehemently against the death penalty for mass murderers, but think there is a Constitutional right to abortion, you just might be a Democrat.

If you think that, during the COVID-19 pandemic, churches should be closed but pot dispensaries and strip clubs should remain open as “essential” entities, you just might be a Democrat.

If you claim to hate racism and then claim that all white people are racists, you just might be a Democrat.

If you believe that female genital mutilation is “just a matter of cultural and religious choice,” but that devout Christians should be forced to pay for other people’s contraception and to make cakes for gay weddings, you just might be a Democrat.

If you believe that an American putting on a sombrero for Halloween is an example of rank appropriation, but that there’s nothing wrong with people around the world wearing Levi’s jeans or listening to blues music, you just might be a Democrat.

If you believe discrimination against minorities is bad, but that discrimination against a majority (that itself will soon be a minority) is okay, you just might be a Democrat.

If you believe that Antifa and Black Lives Matter are benign groups trying to right historical wrongs, but that the Founders were selfish bastards intent on using others to further a white power agenda, you just might be a Democrat.

If you believe that Capitalism is a corrupt economic system designed to oppress the masses, and that Socialism is an altruistic system designed to level the playing field, you almost certainly are a Democrat.

If you used to believe that desegregation was a bad idea, and now believe resegregation—in some instances-- is a good one, you just might be a Democrat.

If you believe rugged individualism is a pathetically outmoded idea…and that group think is a much better option, you just might be a democrat.

If you prefer indoctrination over unbiased instruction and the primacy of feelings over logic, you just might be a Democrat.

If you think the doctrine of “America First” is xenophobic and unfair and subscribe to a doctrine of “Any Other Country First,” you just might be a Democrat.

If you think “misgendering” someone is “violence,” but that burning buildings, broken windows and blood on the faces of Trump supporters are evidence of “a mostly peaceful protest,” you just…might…be…a…Democrat.

If you are still certain that Russia meddled in the 2016 U.S. Presidential Election but are equally certain that the 2020 election was utterly untainted, you just might be a Democrat.

If you truly believe President Trump is a bigger danger to the world as a whole than Chinese President Xi Jinping is, you just might be a Democrat.

If you believe that Trump is a “bully” but see nothing wrong with conservatives getting mocked, de-platformed, threatened, silenced, slandered, and chased off campuses…you are almost certainly a Democrat.

If you believe wearing a face mask in public is more important than wearing clothes in public, you just may be a Democrat.

If you prefer “virtual” reality to…reality…you just might be a Democrat.

 

 

When Do Words Matter?

 

              Sex and gender don’t matter. Except when they do to progressives. Racism is wrong. Except when it’s practiced by progressives. Anyone can pick their own gender. No big deal. But, have you heard? Kamala Harris is going to be the first female vice-president! And she is a person of color! This is so great! Also, only white people can be racist! Just so you know.

              The left spends an inordinate amount of time attempting to render words meaningless and strip phrases of their meaning. Sex? Abstract concept. Gender? An infinite number from which you get to pick. Cultures? None better, none worse. Truth? No such thing in an absolute sense. You get to pick “your truth” too, just like you get to select your own gender. Abortion? “Women’s health care!” Confiscatory taxation? “Revenue enhancement!” Make America Great Again? Meaningless and misleading in that America was never great, but also racist. Now racist does have a real, concrete meaning. So does “dog-whistle.” And we all know that MAGA is simply a racist dog-whistle!

              “And, while we’re at it,” leftists say, “repeat after me: Black Lives Matter! Antifa is an idea! Mostly peaceful protesters! Love is love! No human is illegal! Women’s rights are human rights! Science is real! Misgendering is violence, meat is murder, but abortion is women’s health care! Orange man bad! There was no election fraud!”

 

 

Colleges Churning Out Leftist Voters

 

The Democratic Party is rapidly becoming a party of elites, a professional-managerial class comprised of those who believe they are smarter than others who haven’t spent years in higher education. College educated voters now vote overwhelmingly for Democrats, far more so than at any other time in American history.

According to the Wall Street Journal’s analysis of the 2020 election, former Vice President Joe Biden carried 84 out of the 100 counties with the largest share of residents holding a bachelor’s degree or greater. The analysis, based upon the United States Census Bureau’s five-year American Community Survey, also shows how rapidly the voting habits of the college educated have changed. In 1980, for example, Republicans won 76 out of those 100 “most educated” counties. Democrats only won 24. But, in the 1990s, Democrats began winning a majority of these counties. And by 2008, Republicans were winning less than one quarter of the counties.

Similarly, a recent Pew Research Center report found that “Democrats increasingly dominate in party identification among white college graduates,” while “Republicans increasingly dominate in party affiliation among white non-college voters.” It noted that Democrats hold an incredible 49-point lead over Republicans among urban Northeasterners.

 

None of this is coincidence or happenstance. The dramatic increase in the number of college-educated persons voting for Democrats began shortly after the colleges switched their primary mission from education and mind-expansion to indoctrination and social justice warring. The college educated tend to be open to any kind of diversity except that of thought, the only kind that really matters. They think monolithically, not as individuals, as they are taught that identity politics and group think are more important than personal autonomy. They tend to be open to almost any type of social or cultural change as they are taught to loathe history and traditional values. They are secular, not religious, woke not logical. And, as is the case with many who think they are “highly educated,” they don’t know how much they don’t know. In contrast to the truly intelligent, who generally realize how little they know, and that each question answered leads to more unanswered—and possibly unanswerable—questions for us mere mortals. So, they march on, robotically, literally and figuratively chanting and repeating their inane mantras, looking down on those who don’t share the views they’ve had injected into them, unaware of how unaware they are. Voting for Democrats in ever increasing numbers.

 

And now the large majority of students entering most of the iconic colleges and universities are much more “progressive” than those of a couple of decades ago. A recent poll found that just 7.4% of incoming Harvard students identified as conservative. Similar percentages can surely be found in many other bastions of higher education around the country.

 

And, if students aren’t predisposed to leftist politics upon entering their chosen school, you can be nearly certain that they will be upon leaving it.  Why do you think that Democrats are so insistent that everyone go to college? Why are they so hell-bent on providing government assistance to do so? And why do they now believe in forgiving student loan debt? Because they are running a perfect—and self-sustaining—scam. Yet another in a long line of them. They are ipso facto manufacturing their own voters. (It is almost mindful of the classic horror movie The Invasion of the Body Snatchers…but in this case it is minds they are snatching. Even more chilling.)

College students have fallen for the bizarre Marxist dogma with which they are being spoon fed. They are neither curious of nor questioning what their elders/teachers are telling them to believe, as was the case in the 1960s. They are not resisting, they are not rebellious, they are meekly complying with the obvious coercion. They are not protesting for free speech and the right to think what they will as individuals, but against those very concepts.

That is not progress, but a sad regression. This is not a renaissance, but a decline. It is not a revolution, but a devolution.

College faculty bestow nearly all of their campaign donations to Democrats, as well, often around 95%. There is now little more autonomy and diversity of thought and action among those on campus as there was among the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet. Trump Re-Impeached, Supporters Silenced, Humiliated, Threatened

 

Is the Capitol siege just another hoax? Don’t get me wrong, we know it occurred. But, there is more and more evidence coming out that it was pre-planned…and not instigated by Trump supporters. There is absolutely no evidence that President Trump encouraged or fomented the violence. He has—repeatedly—talked of “peaceful” protests, and condemned lawlessness of any sort. Yet the media treats the brief, tragic, incursion as an “insurrection.” Democrats portrayed it as on par with the Night of the Long Knives. And then they voted to re-impeach Trump, despite the fact there were no witnesses, no presidential legal representation, and no factual evidence presented. In short, they impeached him without trial, just because they wished to…and could.

Compare that to how the media and Democrats treated the numerous claims of voter fraud in the recent presidential election. Despite substantial evidence of wrongdoing and even evidence of massive voter fraud, they summarily dismissed the claims and refused to grant the grievances any forum.

Think about this: the baseless vote to re-impeach Trump was successful, the attempt to prevent a potentially stolen election and validate the will of over 75 million Americans was summarily dismissed as frivolous. What if the roles were reversed? How would The Left have handled it?

And ponder this, too: Trump got over 11 million more votes in 2020 than in 2016. By contrast, Obama received at least 3 million fewer votes in 2012 than in 2008. This makes Trump arguably the most popular president in history. And the establishment elites still (in my and many other people’s view) were able to steal the election from him and his supporters. That is breathtaking chutzpah. Think what that means. They knew how powerful they are. Moreover, they saw the people’s response to the never-ending lockdowns/mask mandates, etc., and realized how easily led we have become. (“Two weeks to flatten the curve” has morphed into “Ten months to flatten your soul.”)

As Congressman Louis Gohmert observed, half of all the impeachments in the history of this republic have now been carried out by Nancy Pelosi. How does the Wicked Witch of the West not herself get impeached? She is petty, vindictive, unstable, and has essentially condoned mob violence herself.

The Left is blatantly rubbing conservatives’ noses in their defeats, challenging us to do something about them. Pelosi’s team of Trump impeachment managers consisted of 7 women, people of color or members of the LGBTQ community. And Eric Swalwell. So, a guy who sleeps with a Chinese spy is not only not kicked off the House Intelligence Committee (talk about an oxymoron!) but is appointed by Pelosi to be a House Impeachment Manager! This comes on the heels of Twitter lecturing Uganda not to block social media and messaging apps ahead of that nation’s election, because that would be an outrageous violation of “basic human rights and the principles of the #OpenInternet.” This was well after Twitter banned President Trump from its platform. Kids, don’t look for justice in this world.

One would think, based on other ex-president’s memoirs and the explosive, remarkable story Trump surely has to tell, that he would be chomping at the bit to release his own book once he leaves office. Yet, in light of the stunningly rapid post-election assault on conservatives’ liberties, will any company dare to publish his memoirs? Would any bookseller have the courage to stock it?

And, if you purchased it, would it be reported to your spouse…employer…the government?

 

Founding Principles Turned Upside Down

 

The United States of America was founded on certain cherished principles, such as the right to freedom of speech and religion, the right to bear arms, and the right to be secure in one's property. These unalienable rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness were enshrined in our laws. They were embedded in our societal DNA, part and parcel of our very souls.

Far more than most, we judged people by the content of their character, not the color of their skin. Everyone was meant to be equal before the law, innocent until proven guilty. Justice was blind. We aspired to be a classless society, a meritocracy. We truly were the shining city on a hill, “the land of the free and the home of the brave.”  

Those days appear to be gone forever. Stolen from us while we slept.

Let’s go through each of the erstwhile American rights and ideals in turn, to prove the point.

Freedom of speech is rapidly becoming a quaint notion, replaced by “hate speech” laws, safe rooms, social media bans, and political correctness run amok. Those that have the temerity to believe in traditional American values are being mocked and challenged, those courageous enough to say so are being cancelled, fired, or even physically attacked. As George Orwell noted, “The further a society drifts from the truth, the more it will hate those that speak it.”

Freedom of religion has been replaced by the bizarre concept of freedom from religion. Christians, in particular, are openly mocked, questioned, silenced, and legally forced to act against their consciences.

The right to bear arms—i.e. protect yourself and your family-- is under assault, and will be dramatically more so under the incoming administration.

The right to be secure in one’s property has been essentially abolished. If your home or business happens to stand in the way of a “mostly peaceful” BLM/Antifa riot, it is quite likely toast. Sorry, no recompense allowed. Moreover, confiscatory tax rates are all the rage in blue states, and will be coming to all of us soon, courtesy of the Harris-Biden Biden-Harris regime. You may have earned your money, but illegal aliens are more deserving of it, no?

The right to life? Roughly 3,000 abortions are performed in the United States every day. Oddly, an unborn child has no say as to if he or she lives or dies, but, if he or she happens to make it out of the womb, must be allowed to determine his or her own gender.

Liberty? The pursuit of happiness? Yeah, right. Stay in your homes! Wear a mask! Give up your jobs and businesses if asked! Do not attend weddings or funerals! Do as we say, not as we do!

Judging people is generally considered passé, unless those people hold traditional values. But, in practice, our rulers do judge people by the color of their skin, screw the character thing.

There is no equality before the law. Certain groups are treated entirely differently than others. The elites pick and choose the special groups, the untouchables. The rest of us are nothing more than sacrificial lambs. Are you a Clinton? No problem. A Trump? Burn in hell! Soros, Bezos, Zuckerberg, Dorsey, Cuomo, Biden? Love you guys! Got your back! And maybe your front, too, wink, wink! Progressives are considered innocent even if proved guilty, whereas conservatives are guilty regardless of their innocence. Justice is not blind, rather we are blind to justice.

We are no longer a classless society, though in many ways we have no class. Meritocracy is a thing of the past, unless one considers monumental ignorance and hypocrisy meritorious.

The shining city on a hill is rapidly sliding down into an abyss.

Yet, it is not evil that surprises so much as the number of people willing to aid and abet it.

Those on the left want to remake the U.S. into the “land of the wee…and the home of the knave.”

It happened in a hurry. The Left is, apparently, attempting to impose a Final Solution on the First Amendment rights of roughly half of America’s citizens. In cases large and small, massive multinational corporations with no particular allegiance to the United States are colluding with members of the media and Democratic politicians to permanently silence dissent and cement and enhance their own power.

To wit: LeeAnn Miller founded PatrioticMe, an online retailer that sells patriotic clothing items, in September of last year. The business advertised on Facebook and was quite successful from the outset. She donates a portion of every sale to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, a charity founded to honor the sacrifice of New York City firefighter Stephen Siller, who gave his life to save others as a first responder on Sept. 11, 2001. But, on November 4^th, 2020, the day after the presidential election, she received an email from the Facebook Ads Team informing her that her advertisements did not comply with Facebook's advertising policies or other standards. The subject line of the email stated: "Ad Account Disabled for Policy Violation.” She was stunned.

She assumed the advertisements were disabled in error, so she immediately contacted Facebook and requested a review of her account. She received a second email saying virtually the same thing. After two more requests for a review or explanation, the Facebook Ads Team sent Miller a final notice on November 24th telling her that her restricted account would not be re-enabled. Miller says that she was never able to speak with a live human being. Facebook’s decision has resulted in PatrioticMe losing 94% of its traffic. She believes her ad account was disabled simply because of her products’ patriotic message.

To wit: Frankfurt-based Deutsche Bank and New York-based Signature Bank have both reportedly cut ties with President Trump and will no longer do business with him, in the aftermath of the recent Capitol siege, according to The New York Times. Not only did Signature Bank apparently close all accounts connected with President Trump, it called for his resignation. That’s the proper role of a financial institution, no?

To wit: Juliette Kayyem, a lecturer at Harvard University, and former member of the Obama administration's Homeland Security Advisory Council, recently appeared on a CNN panel with Jim Sciutto and Poppy Harlow, during which she said, "Trump is the spiritual, but I will also say operational leader of this domestic terrorism effort. He tells them where to go. He tells them what to do. He tells them why they're angry.” She also called for the “complete isolation” of Trump. A supposedly respected talking head calls the president of the United States “the spiritual and operational leader of a domestic terrorism effort?”

Memo to Kayyem: Trump doesn’t tell his supporters “why they’re angry.” If you want to know why they are angry, look in the mirror.

To wit: House Democrats introduced impeachment articles against Trump just a few days from when he will be leaving the White House anyway. You know, for purposes of “unity and healing.”

To wit: Former Republican Congressman Ron Paul was locked out of his Facebook account by the social media giant on Monday, after he dared to share a column blasting Big Tech for silencing Americans and accusing social media platforms of engaging in a coordinated effort to stifle the speech of those with whom they disagree. Paul tweeted, "With no explanation other than ‘repeatedly going against our community standards,’ @Facebook has blocked me from managing my page. Never have we received notice of violating community standards in the past and nowhere is the offending post identified."

He added, "The only thing we posted to Facebook today was my weekly 'Texas Straight Talk' column, which I have published every week since 1976."

Yes, but it’s not 1976 anymore, Ron.

It is 1984.

 

Teacher Sprays Disinfectant On Students Improperly Wearing Facial Masks

 

Largo High School (Florida) teacher Christina Reszetar allegedly sprayed disinfectant on the bodies-- and into the faces-- of four of her learning disabled students because they weren’t wearing their face masks in the prescribed manner in her classroom. Appearing before a judge, the 51-year-old “educator” was charged with four counts of felony child abuse with great bodily harm. She was booked into the Pinellas County jail.

According to the Largo Police Department, Reszetar became aggressive because the four students refused to wear their face masks properly.

While in the courtroom, Reszetar told the judge she has been an instructor for 21 years, 18 of them at Largo High School where she teaches Learning Disabled Math, according to WFLA-TV.

She is sadly indicative of the mindset of leftists and those who wield influence over others, such as teachers, “experts,” politicians, corporate leaders, members of the media, and Big Tech oligarchs who control access to information. If the “little people,” literally or figuratively speaking, don’t quickly acquiesce to the desires of their elite betters, they must be made to do so. Most of us have seen numerous instances of conscientious mask objectors being verbally and even physically assaulted, whether it be in a store or restaurant, or even in the great outdoors.

This is part of a growing trend of viewing human beings primarily as a source of infection…if not as an infection themselves, largely detrimental to the Earth. The Left fosters, aides and abets this notion on many levels. Babies in the womb are an infection plaguing a woman’s body. Republicans/conservatives are an infection on the republic, as are white cis-male Christians.  All Trump supporters, too. Pretty much anyone in flyover country. And, really, anyone with whom a leftist disagrees.

This is unbearably sad, and certainly contrary to Biblical teaching, which states that God created man in His own image. But what would God know? Maybe He, too, is naught but an “infection.”

Many leftists would agree.

Real infection, however, comes neither from God nor from the mouths of learning challenged students, but from those who believe they are superior to both. Leftist group-think in the unbridled quest for power-- or approbation-- leads to a fatally diseased republic unable to even discern the difference between right and wrong.

Leftists Calling For Trump To Be Digitally Removed From Movie "Home Alone 2"

 

Wacko leftists are calling for Donald Trump to be digitally removed from the movie Home Alone 2: Lost In New York, in which he has a brief cameo when Kevin McAllister, played by Macauley Culkin, asks him for directions to the lobby in the Plaza Hotel in New York City. Patently false claims that Trump incited an insurrection at the U.S. Capitol have ignited calls for his removal from the movie. Canada’s CBC-TV has already cut Trump’s cameo from its annual broadcast of the movie. CBC preposterously claims the scene “was edited to allow for commercial time within the format.”

It is obvious that progressives have been further emboldened since Facebook and Twitter banned the president from its platforms. Andrew Hunter Murray, a novelist and Twitter blue check, recently tweeted that Trump “should be tried, imprisoned and digitally removed from Home Alone 2.” Matt Navarra, another Twitter blue check, breathily sniffed: “I won’t rest until he is removed from that scene.” Magazine writer Joseph Longo also chimed in, stating: “Digitally remove him from Home Alone 2 next,” in a tweet that has well over half a million likes.

Power hungry leftists, besotted as always with telling other people how to live (and die), are now engaged in an orgy of Orwellian maneuvers to stifle speech and thought. And they are dead set on erasing Trump from history and sending every vestige of him-- and his supporters-- down a 1984-approved-and-certified memory hole to be incinerated and lost forever.

They won’t stop there. The word “trump,” meaning: 1) a decisive overriding factor or final resource or 2) a dependable and exemplary person, will soon be expunged from the lexicon. Saying that one has a “trump card” will be similarly verboten. Use of the phrase “trumped up,” as in “trumped up charges,” may result in a fine of not more than $250,000 or a prison term of no more than 25 years.

The term “no-trump,” used in bridge, will be allowed if used in strict accordance with the game’s play, because it lexicologically prohibits, cancels out and renders impotent the word trump.

Trump’s picture will omitted from all media chronicles of the presidency from 2016 to 2020, as will any description of himself, his cabinet or his achievements. As the “Washington Redskins” have been rechristened the “Washington Football Team,” the Trump administration will be forever rebranded as the “White House Occupiers and Insurrectionists.” Talk about trumped up charges!

Losing Our Religion...History...And Freedom

 

The U.S. has, simultaneously, come unmoored from its Judeo-Christian origins, eschewed its shared history and traditions, and lost its MoJo, its Johnson, its testosterone. (The latter may seem incongruous with the former, but it is not.) We have been so accommodating to everyone and everything but ourselves and our way of life that we have forgotten who we are. We do not want to offend those who wash up on our shores, so we subject ourselves to extremes of political correctness and identity politics, even as we give them money and a chance. In doing so, we have lost our shared identity, our cohesiveness, our religiosity…and our soul.

God created man and woman distinctly and with purpose. “Male and female He created them.” He said “Be fruitful and increase in number”…and take dominion over the animals and every living creature. Today, we don’t believe there are distinct genders, and can’t tell if we are men or women-- or any one of an infinite number of genders on a spectrum. We permit hundreds of thousands of abortions a year but feel bad swatting a mosquito or killing a mouse. It is not a coincidence that we are losing belief in ourselves as we are losing belief in God.

We have put up with the preposterous debasing of our Founders and watched quietly as their statues have been vandalized, destroyed or removed. We have meekly allowed our history to be rewritten and our Constitution and Bill of Rights to be assaulted.

We have ‘progressed’ from “Gunsmoke,” “The Magnificent Seven,” and “Father Knows Best” to “The View,” “Oprah,” and “Heather Has Two Mommies.” The Marlboro Man is out, the metrosexual is in. John Wayne is mocked for his ‘toxic masculinity,’ transgenders are reading to our elementary school kids.

 When a society loses either its religious heritage, its shared history and identity, or its collective Cajones, its continued existence becomes problematic. When it loses two of the three, it will fall, whether sooner or later. When it loses all three simultaneously, it will effectively be gone in the cosmic blink of an eye.

Irreligious, mis-educated, feminine…and infantilized. That’s us.

As a result, we are more diverse in superficial ways, like race, than ever before. But less diverse in thought.

And freedom.
