Climate Change Activist Advocates For Human Extinction


                Les Knight, a climate change activist from Portland, Oregon, has hit on what he believes is the most effective way to save the Earth: eradicate the human race. According to England’s The Guardian newspaper, Knight first concluded that the best thing for the planet would be the extinction of his own species about fifty years ago. He reasoned that, since humans are “causing the extinction of hundreds of thousands of other species,” a “peaceful phase-out of human existence” would restore ecosystems and eliminate “fighting over resources.” (Note to Knight: Fighting over resources was part of the definition of life long before humans appeared and would still be were he to get his wish of Homo Sapiens’ demise). He says that it is not enough for couples to limit themselves to just one child. He decided to lead by example and had himself sterilized in the 1970s. (Whew!).
                Knight claimed to be surprised that his idea “wasn’t as well received” as he had hoped. Yes, it’s truly shocking that people don’t whole-heartedly support their own sterilization, the abolishment of family and legacy, and the complete destruction of their own kind.
                In 1980, Knight relocated to Portland and founded the Voluntary Human Extinction Project. He says VHEP’s message is a simple one: “Stop procreating so the biosphere might return to its former glory,” and notes that the organization is now a global one with active volunteers from India to Mexico. Knight’s war on humanity is, unsurprisingly, related to his hatred of American capitalism. “We don’t need to breed more wage slaves to prop up an obsolete system,” he avows. He bemoans the fact that he’ll “never see the day when there are no humans on the planet,” but consoles himself with his ability to “imagine what a magnificent world it would be—provided we go soon enough.” Would that world really be magnificent if there was no one on it to perceive it as such?
                Knight, like nearly all leftists, is not a fan of Biblical Christianity, either. Genesis states: “So God created mankind in His own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. God blessed them and said to them, ‘Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.’” This is a far cry from commanding, “Come to think of it, you guys suck. My bad. Do me a favor and don’t reproduce. It’d be better for the other aspects of My Creation if you just ceased to exist.”
                Religion aside, does anyone believe that any member of any other species occasionally thinks to itself: “You know, it seems to me that humans and other animals would be better off if we were extinct. We should just stop breeding and slowly eradicate ourselves for the good of the planet. Our extermination is others’ gain.” Of course not. No other species is capable of pondering its own extinction, let alone the ramifications thereof.
                So why should we? 

                Homo Sapiens is Latin for “wise man,” which, self-evidently, Knight is not.

Speaker Pelosi Marks "Somber" Impeachment Moment With Commemorative Pens


                House Speaker Nancy Pelosi repeated how “somber” a moment it was prior to the House delivering the articles of impeachment to the Senate recently. Yet, in a ceremony gleefully covered live by CNN, Pelosi signed the articles against President Trump while smiling smugly…and then, incredibly, proceeded to hand out pens commemorating the occasion to her fellow Democrats. If pens marking the occasion were to be handed out, it should have been done in private, not on live television. Thankfully, since the ceremony was broadcast by CNN, almost no one saw this classless act, save for those poor souls stuck in airports.
                Elizabeth Harrington, GOP National Spokesperson, posted a video of Pelosi’s pen proffering and noted that pens are typically handed out for accomplishments, such as Trump’s signing a trade deal with China. She added, “So it’s fitting that Democrats are handing out pens for their sole accomplishment: impeachment.”
                A presidential impeachment should not be a celebratory affair, yet it wouldn’t have surprised me if Speaker Pelosi had shaken hands with her impeachment managers while wearing a joy-buzzer and passing out Cuban cigars. I’m sure commemorative hats, tee-shirts and coasters are on order, too.
                I wouldn’t put it past these Democrats to engage in literally any behavior, so addled and besotted are they with Trump Derangement Syndrome. If, God forbid, he was assassinated, would they pass around miniature commemorative caskets?

Project Veritas Videos Also Reveal Mainstream Media Bias


                What follows is an exercise in honesty and integrity. I simply put a fictional staffer for President Trump in the place of the actual staffer for Bernie Sanders who was recently caught on tape by Project Veritas saying that Trump’s supporters should be sent to “re-education” camps, the gulags weren’t all that bad, and Milwaukee will burn if Sen. Sanders doesn’t get the Democratic nomination this coming July. Much of the staffers dialogue is unchanged, verbatim. All of it is of a piece with what he actually said. (See previous/yesterday’s post on this site).
                The mainstream media has not aired, and apparently will not air, this shocking video…or any of the subsequent ones released by Project Veritas. No one—and I mean no one—can deny that, if a Trump campaign staffer had been caught saying these very same things, the mainstream media would have the video(s) playing on a “continuous loop” basis 24/7 through the election on November 3rd.

Project Veritas reporter to Trump campaign staffer: “Do you think that some of these socialist and far left Democrats could even be re-educated?” (if Trump is re-elected).

 Trump staffer: “We gotta try. In Nazi Germany, after the fall of the Nazi party, there was a shit-ton of the populace that was f**king Nazified. Germany had to spend billions of dollars re-educating their f**king people to not be Nazis. Like, we’re probably going to have to do the same f**king thing here, with Socialists and Democratic Socialists rather than National Socialists. That’s kind of what all Trump’s whole f**king like, ‘there’s never gonna be a Socialist president’ is about, because we’re going to have to teach you to not be a f**king Socialist/Marxist/Communist. There’s a reason Joseph Stalin had gulags, right? And actually, gulags were a lot better than what the CIA has told us that they were. Like, people were actually paid a living wage in gulags, they had conjugal visits in gulags, gulags were actually meant for like re-education. [The] greatest way to break a f**king Hollywood puke or coastal elitist of their, like, privilege and their idea that they’re superior and know best for everybody is to have them go out and break rocks for 12 hours a day. You’re now essentially a ‘deplorable’ and you’re going to f**king learn what that means, right?”

Project Veritas reporter: “So, if Trump somehow isn’t reelected, will his people be…I mean, will there be ‘consequences?’”

Trump staffer: “If there’s anything but perfect unanimity at the Republican National Convention in August, Charlotte will f**king burn. If Trump doesn’t get reelected, Washington will be set afire and then other cities will just f**king explode, as well. If the police, firemen, FBI or Homeland Security push back at all, the whole damn country might go up in flames. We would make the Great Chicago Fire of 1871 look like a f**king girl scout’s f**king cookout. Anyone who tries to stop us will be f**king beaten.”

                If any member of a mainstream media outlet should happen to read this, I call on their supposed journalistic “code of ethics” in challenging them to post these videos or at least report on them. If he/she/they have a shred of human decency, integrity, sense of fair play, or modicum of shame, they will do so.
                I, however, will not be holding my breath.

Project Veritas Video: Trump Supporters To Be "Re-educated?"


Project Veritas recently released a remarkably disturbing undercover video, in which a Bernie Sanders campaign staffer stated that Trump supporters might have to be “re-educated” and rich people sent to gulags to “break rocks for 12 hours a day” if Sen. Sanders defeats Trump this November and becomes president of the United States. (But, in other news…).
A female Project Veritas journalist opens the video by asking Bernie’s man, “Do you even think that some of these ‘MAGA people,’ like, could even be re-educated?” (if Sanders takes the White House). The Sanders staffer replies “We gotta try,” adding, “In Nazi Germany, after the fall of the Nazi party, there was a shit-ton of the populace that was f**king Nazified. Germany had to spend billions of dollars re-educating their f**king people to not be Nazis. Like, we’re probably going to have to do the same f**king thing here. That’s kind of what all Bernie’s whole f**king like, ‘hey, free education for everybody!’ because we’re going to have to teach you to not be a f**king Nazi.” He went on to say, “There’s a reason Joseph Stalin had gulags, right? And actually, gulags were a lot better than what the CIA has told us that they were. Like, people were actually paid a living wage in gulags, they had conjugal visits in gulags, gulags were actually meant for like re-education.” Yes, gulags were great. Tell that to Alexander Solzhenitsyn. German National Socialists (Nazis) and Russian Communists sent people to re-education camps and gulags to break them and force them into parroting the party line, in eerily similar-- and equally evil— ways.
The Sanders field organizer then moved on to the vexing problem of how best to deal with rich folks, stating: “[The] greatest way to break a f**king billionaire of their like, privilege and their idea that they’re superior, go out and break rocks for 12 hours a day. You’re now a working-class person and you’re going to f**king learn what that means, right?” Ironically, given his own income and assets, Bernie, notwithstanding his recent heart attack, might himself be subject to a lengthy stay at a gulag, forced to smite boulders 12 hours a day as penance for being insufficiently destitute.
The bearded Bernie backer also shared his thoughts on the upcoming Democratic National Convention, to be held in Milwaukee this July. He noted: “If Bernie doesn’t get the nomination or it goes to a second round at the DNC convention, f**king Milwaukee will burn. It’ll start in Milwaukee and then when they f**king, and the police push back on that, other cities will just f**king [explode].” Is the Sanders campaign perhaps planning to revive the Weather Underground Organization, a domestic terrorist group that issued a “Declaration of a State of War” against the United States government in 1970 and conducted various bombing campaigns against banks and government buildings in the first half of the 1970s? This clown makes it seem like that is a distinct possibility.
Finally, Sanders’ campaign comrade issued another not-so-veiled threat, averring: “We’re going to make 1978 look like a f**king girl scout’s f**king cookout. The cops are going to be the ones f**king beaten in Milwaukee.” Bernie’s aide was off by a decade, as the riots to which he was referring took place outside the Democratic National Convention in Chicago in 1968, but truth is always a casualty of Socialism and those who support it. And, whereas anyone can speak of targeting police officers with impunity today, his misogynistic reference to a tame, servile, domestic cookout held by young females seems oddly insensitive and un-woke.
Leftists tout tolerance but cannot countenance dissent. They give lip service to inclusiveness but wish to forcibly “re-educate” those that disagree with them. They purport to disdain fascism but routinely employ its tactics.
Socialism/Marxism/Communism killed over 100 million people in the Twentieth Century alone, and North Korea, Cuba, Venezuela, et. al. are not exactly effective advertisements for Socialism today. But the Democratic Party and the Democratic Socialists of America don’t care about facts. They know Academia and the mainstream media will do their bidding, truth be damned. And, if they prove insufficiently effective, not to worry. There are always re-education camps and gulags to help people think properly, right?

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Tries To Answer Questions


                Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) recently remarked that the United States is “not an advanced society.” Alrighty then. Remember, this is the same woman who could not name the three branches of the self-same American government in which she serves.
                In light of these gaffs, I thought it would be fun to quiz her on a few other subjects that used to be considered common knowledge, so I called her office a couple of weeks ago. A secretary connected me to someone that sounded very much like AOC. Here is a transcript of the conversation:

Me: “AOC, thank you for agreeing to speak with me. First off, could you name the first three American presidents?”

AOC: “Well, there was, like…George Washington…and, like, um, Abraham Lincoln? Right? And then, umm, Ronald Reagan? FDR?”

Me: “Nice try. And where did the Boston Massacre occur?”

AOC: “Philadelphia!”

Me: “Sorry, no. It actually took place in Boston. Massachusetts.”

AOC: “Like, no shit?”

Me: “Like, no shit. Next, who fought in the Civil War? More precisely, what were the two sides in the American Civil War?”

AOC: “Um, the Redcoats and the, like, Union Jacks?”

Me: “Um, no.”

AOC: “Oh.”

Me: “Can you tell me the difference between the subject and the predicate in a sentence?”

AOC: “Like, that’s a tough one. Um, like, the subject is the accused who gets sentenced in a predicament, right?”

Me: “Not exactly. I said ‘predicate,’ not ‘predicament.’ Anyway, let’s move on. The point at which a supply and demand curve meet is called the ‘equilibrium point.’ In a competitive market, this should help determine the ____  of a product?”

AOC: “The place where capital is owned by labor and the bourgeois are supplanted by the proletariat?”

Me: “What?!”

AOC: “The amount of greenhouse gases it will send into the atmosphere, laying waste to our fragile planet in the interests of Big Energy?”

Me: “Afraid not. Let’s try a real easy one. Who is buried in Grant’s tomb?”

AOC: “Somebody named Grant?”

Me: “Excellent! Now you’re getting it. Which Grant?”

AOC: “Hugh?”

Me: “No, he’s still alive.”

AOC: “Amy?”

Me: “No.”

AOC: “Cary?”

Me: “No. Not the one I was looking for. Ms. Ocasio-Cortez, may I ask you one final question?”

AOC: “Yeah.”

Me: “A very common national personification of the U.S. federal government—in which you currently serve—is…what? I’ll give you a hint: ‘Uncle _____?’”

AOC: “Uncle Pam!”

Me: “Not so much. Anyway, thank you for speaking with me today, ma’am. Happy holidays.”

AOC: “I don’t believe in holidays that white men have foisted upon us for the glorification of---”

Me: “Good-bye.”

It is marginalizing to fish, birds, livestock, wild animals, and all the creatures that move along the ground. Like, we’re not special. All living things should live in peace and harmony, unoppressed by human beings!).
                27) So God created mankind in His own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female He created them. (Why the hell would that be? Did He even ask them what gender they wished to identify as? Did He use their preferred pronouns?! If not, why? Perhaps the LGBTQ community and Planned Parenthood can set Him straight make Him- or Her- They see the error of They’s ways).

Civil War, Revolution Or Nanny-State?


There has been much talk lately of civil war. People ask: could the United States be on the brink of a Second American Civil War? Is it even possible? It is, of course, surpassingly sad that we must even entertain such thoughts, but that is the state of our estrangement. It is hard to imagine another civil war being fought, structurally speaking. What two armies would oppose each other with what manner of weapons?
It would certainly be better for the nation if instead we undertook a Second American Revolution. We need to recommit ourselves to limited government of, by and for the people. We need to re-enshrine the rule of law…and equality under the law-- instead of putting up with one set of rules for the elites and another for the “deplorables.” If we are to have any hope of slowing down the balkanization of America and stopping the rush to tribalism and chaos, if we are to treat people equally and each individual life with dignity, we must re-establish the primacy of Natural Law. Because all lives matter. As the Declaration of Independence states: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” No matter what leftists say, these words have helped lead countless millions around the world out of bondage and into prosperity. It is time that we seriously heeded them again.
The Constitution, our Founding document, the nation’s blueprint as it were, has a preamble reading: “WE THE PEOPLE of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.” The First Ten Amendments to this American operations manual are called the Bill of Rights. (Meaning rights the people have that government does not and can’t legitimately take away). All but the Third are clearly under attack and have essentially been abrogated by the ever-swelling federal government.
Amendment I says Congress can make no law preventing the freedom of speech or the free exercise of religion. Yet, conservatives’ voices are muzzled, especially on college campuses, and Christians are routinely harassed and prevented from praying in public, etc, etc.
Amendment II assures us of the right to bear arms, i.e. defend ourselves, and we all know this is anathema to progressives.
Amendment VI guarantees that “the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury…” Ask President Trump how that’s working for him now. The Swamp doesn’t care for outsiders. Even those in the same national government, whatever their station.
The Tenth Amendment avers that “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.” In reality, since the first half of the Twentieth Century, the federal government has grown and expanded at a rate greater than the rest of the universe, arbitrarily usurping power and running roughshod over both the 50 states and the citizens that reside in them.
Prior to-- and throughout-- the American Revolution, the Colonies’ leaders exhibited extraordinary wisdom, courage and fortitude. Five of the men who signed The Declaration were imprisoned by the British under brutally harsh conditions. Several were continually hunted down and had to stay on the run. No fewer than nine had their homes ransacked and burned. One lost his son while he was serving in the Revolutionary army. Many who had been wealthy were brought to financial ruin. All in the service of their fellow citizens, their nation, and their God.
Is this conceivable today? Who can envision a modern-day politician exclaiming they only regret they have but one life to give to their country? Who would lead troops—literally ride out in front of them in harms way-- for nearly a decade against a foe of overwhelming superiority…and refuse pay for doing so? Who would honestly state “Give me liberty or give me death?” Today’s “leaders” are too busy scheming how to retain and enhance their power. And planning how best to market their memoirs upon leaving office so that they can line their own coffers with cash and live a life of luxury while purporting to be terribly concerned with all the right issues, such as “climate change” and transgender “rights.”
It is too much to ask for a Clinton to have the character of George Washington. It is too much to ask for an Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to be versed in the history of ancient governments…or, probably, to point to Philadelphia on a map.
It is also likely too much to ask Americans to rededicate themselves to ensuring that government of the people, for the people, by the people, doesn’t soon perish from the Earth. But we must do it anyway. It is time to exchange devolution for revolution.
The Founders created what has been called the “Last best hope of Earth.”
It is up to us to save it. Even if we must pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor.

Colin Kaepernick Says America Targets Black And Brown People


                The drone strike that ended the earthly tenure of Iranian general and über-terrorist Qassem Soleimani did not sit well with former NFL quarterback and current anti-American spokesperson Colin R. Kaepernick. The washed-up baller decried President Trump’s decision to target the man responsible for the deaths of thousands of people in the Middle East and around the globe. Kaepernick recently said that the U.S. targets minorities “at home and abroad,” tweeting: “There is nothing new about American terrorist attacks against Black and Brown people for the expansion of American imperialism.”
                As is the case with virtually all leftist dogma, this is exactly wrong. Whether it be the first World Trade Center bombing, 9/11, the Orlando nightclub shooting, or numerous other terrorist attacks on the United States and her citizens of all colors, the U.S., the most diverse nation in history, has been the target of terrorists from North Africa and the Middle East. This despite the fact that the nation has often tried to help prevent ethnic genocide and gives billions of dollars in humanitarian aid to African nations alone. But let’s not muddy things up with facts.
                The United States lost over 600,000 people in a war to end slavery and preserve the idea that all men are created equal and granted inalienable rights by their Creator. Prior to that, to establish and keep its independence, it fought arguably the whitest nation in existence (not that it should matter), England…twice. America has also fought wars with North Korea and North Vietnam, but Asians are not black (not that it should matter), and certainly are not a minority in this world.
                Moreover, the world can never forget that the United States made it possible for the allies to defeat Germany…twice. One can be sure that Mr. Kaepernick was taught about the Third Reich and the Aryan Nation. The Nazis were actual racists and white supremacists. At wars end, the U.S., far from acting out of imperialist greed, gave back the land it had conquered, unlike the U.S.S.R., and spent the equivalent of over 115 billion in today’s dollars to rebuild European economies. But, instead of celebrating the nation which has sacrificed so much in the name of racial equality…and rewarded him with millions of dollars and an endless forum to opine, Kaepernick chooses to denigrate and savage it.
                As he opts to dishonor and disrespect the country, its flag, and those who have long defended the values it represents, he really only dishonors himself. More’s the pity.

The Age Of Unreason


There was once an Age of Reason. Today we appear to be living in the Age of Unreason. Or insanity.
As I’ve noted in previous posts, it is exceedingly difficult today for a sane person to believe what he or she observes on a daily basis, whether it be Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez stating that the world will end in 12 years, Nancy Pelosi demanding that Republicans in the Senate put on a “fair” trial, pundits and talking heads blithely comparing President Trump to Hitler or the devil, people being threatened with fines or job loss for “misgendering” someone, or the pronouncements that men are having their own babies…to name but a few of the absurdities now passed off as news. Additionally, nearly every progressive policy prescription is utterly, demonstrably devoid of reason and logic.
To wit: Abortion should be legal as it’s simply “a woman’s choice” to do what she will with her body? No. She can’t light up a cigarette in a public restaurant. She can’t depress the accelerator of her car too far without being issued a ticket for speeding… or worse. She can’t drive drunk. If she is conservative, she often can’t even speak without being shouted down or chased off college campuses. She may be asked to leave a restaurant while quietly dining with family. She may even be assaulted. Just ask Sarah Huckabee, Candace Owens or Michelle Malkin, among many others. Guns are bad and should be banned? Then why are most mass murders committed in gun-free zones? Why are the cities with the strictest gun-control laws typically the ones with the most homicides? The Green New Deal will save the planet, benefit the economy and increase employment? No, you can’t spend more money than exists in the world and ban all energy-extraction industries without destroying the economy. On a world-wide scale. (All to possibly keep the planet’s temperature from rising .5 of a degree Celsius by 2100). And there are already more jobs in the U.S. than people to fill them, so…?
Moreover, Democrats and leftists (sadly there is not much distinction anymore) routinely project their thoughts, motives and actions onto Republicans/conservatives, aided by their willing lapdogs in the pathetically compliant mainstream media. (See Trump’s Ukraine “quid pro quo” versus Biden’s, for example). And roughly half of the population can’t or won’t see their ruse.
Progressives seek nothing so much as power. Yet, the more they crave it, the less they claim to, and the more they purport to have only the most altruistic of motives. They want to take away our First Amendment rights…and our Second Amendment rights…and tax the hell out of us…and tell us how big of a soft drink we can purchase…and how we must think about climate change, the existence of 73 (or more) different genders, and too many other things to list here…all for our own good and the betterment of society. Right. Now tell us the one about the three bears.
As Ayn Rand said, “Power seekers have always known that if men are to be made submissive, the obstacle is not their feelings, their wishes or their ‘instincts,’ but their minds; if men are to be ruled, then the enemy is reason.” That is a spot-on observation. Today’s Democrats have certainly made that clear. Yet, Ms. Rand was remiss in one area. She could have added that attacking religion has historically been a hallmark of would-be totalitarian governments as well. Today’s Democrats routinely eschew reason and faith.
Faith and reason are not mutually exclusive, not strange bedfellows. In fact, they are inextricably entwined. Contrary to what those on the left would have us believe, religion has generally helped foster reason, not obliterate or refute it. As Ben Shapiro has pointed out, the twin pillars of revelation and reason — emanating from ancient Jerusalem and Athens — form the bedrock for Western civilization’s unprecedented success.
Reason has led us to longer life spans, better health, greater wealth and more leisure time. It has led to countless great inventions. It has led us, literally, to the stars. Faith gives us the strength to make these journeys. And provides the ultimate destination.
Destroying either-- or both-- of these inevitably leads to societal collapse. All previous great societies have gone from bondage to abiding faith to great courage to independence to abundance to complacency to apathy to…bondage again. The United States appeared to be far down that same road until November 8th, 2016. Now, well, time will tell. So, as we start this new decade and look to the future, let us not look too far ahead. To Make America Great Again, we Americans need to keep our vison on 2020. Especially November 3rd.

Climate Change Alarmists Search For Scarier Term



“Experts” first warned us of imminent—and deadly—global cooling in the 1970s. A couple of decades later they started warning us about the possibly even more deadly global warming that was robbing us of a future. More recently, with warming taking a pause, much like cooling did in the 1980s, “experts” and our elite masters decided that “climate change” would be a better moniker for the nevertheless impending disaster. And now, purveyors of planetary panic have decided that the term is not terrifying enough to cause people to make drastic changes in their lives.  A recent article by Aaron Hall in AdAge essentially posed the following question: would people be more alarmed if “climate change” was supplanted by starker, more aggressive terms such as “global meltdown” or “climate collapse?” Hall is a “professional namer,” who says the new name needs to resonate with unscientific rubes in flyover country to help them understand the scope of the problem. (Translation: vote for leftists).
Much as Democrats threw out “quid pro quo” in favor of “bribery” after surveys showed the former term didn’t register with eligible voters following earlier impeachment hearings, and the latter one did, they brainstormed what terms might light a fire—so to speak—under deplorables. Other terms considered included “global melting,” “boiling point,” “scorched Earth,” and “climate chaos.”
Hall also mulled over many other terms, granting honorable mention status to “Emission critical,” “planet critical,” pre-extinction,” “earthshattering,” and, my personal favorite, “The Great Collapse.”
I am by no means certain Hall went far enough in his rebranding scheme to scare people into obedience. A term like “climate derangement” could be used to scare us into thinking that not only is the climate heating up, but that it may well take a machete to us when we’re in the shower. Words like “baking,” “toasting,“ “roasting,” “scalding” and “broiling” could be employed. “Incinerate” would surely incite.  How about “climate holocaust?” “Climate catastrophe?” “Planetary apocalypse?” Perhaps that would make more folks commit themselves to the bonds of slavery.
In a sense, “Climate change” is an inanity. It is akin to saying, “solar heat.” The second word of each term is superfluous. On a macro scale, if there wasn’t climate change, there would be nothing, the null set. An endless void. We wouldn’t be here.
But that doesn’t matter to the elites. To progressives, crisis equals opportunity. This is why they never truly try to solve one. The more imminent and devastating they can portray the “crisis” to be, the greater their opportunity for power and control.
