The Satanic
Temple is promoting an upcoming convention as “the largest Satanic gathering in
history.” Well, that’s certainly something to brag about.
The event, called Satancon, will be taking place in Boston from April 28 –
30th, 2023, and will be in celebration of the Temple’s 10th
anniversary. I’m sure it will be a festive extravaganza.
Tickets are already on sale, but the organization has not yet announced
the location, vendors, or presenters. Ticket prices reportedly start at $95.00
and go up to $160. Those who purchase the “Demon Circle” $160 tickets will
receive special perks such as access to the “Satanic Marketplace,” an official
TST SatanCon 2023 t-shirt, TST SatanCon 2023 stickers, and a SatanCon 2023
button. Count me in!
Last year’s conference included such noteworthy presentations
as “Devil’s Food” with The Satanic Chef Adam Dodge, Abortion as a (Religious)
Right with Mari Davis, and Raising Children in a Satanic Household with Melissa
Morley. (In case you haven’t aborted them.) What a blast!
Boston was once frequently referred to as the
“Cradle of Liberty,” and sports such famous venues as Faneuil Hall,
where American patriots often met to determine how the colonists should deal
with the British crown which so often abused them.
If Satancon goes off without a hitch,
“Beantown” will have yet another way to sell itself to tourists: ”Boston: Proud
home of the largest ever Satanic gathering.” Who wouldn’t be enticed to visit,
if not move there?
You know what they say: “Speak of the
devil, and he shall appear.”
In this case, we’re talking about actual
“devil’s advocates.”
One thing we can be sure of: if Satanic
worship keeps growing, as fewer and fewer Americans identify as Christian or
religious, there will be hell to pay.
