As many of you may
know, the National School Boards Association recently asked the Biden
administration to consider labeling parental opponents of various school
policies “domestic terrorists.”
That in itself is
preposterous, revolting, and chilling. And now Fox News has reported that an
early draft of the association’s letter expressed the desire to have the National
Guard and military monitor
school board meetings. According to Fox News, that draft read “We ask that the
Army National Guard and its Military Police be deployed to certain school
districts and related events where students and school personnel have been
subjected to acts and threats of violence.” The same draft also referred to
parents who voiced opposition to school policies as “plotters who are targeting
schools and educators.”
Odd, considering
leftist educators have heretofore always disdained the American military-- and
the implied threat of force in general. I guess protecting the nation from the
likes of the Third Reich, the Soviet Union, and radical Islamic terrorists was/is
not as critical as “protecting” school board members from having to answer
heated questions from the parents who pay their salaries. I mean, when you want
to indoctrinate children into believing bald-faced lies that will necessarily cause
grievous harm to your country, or groom them in the ways of sexual perversity
at an extremely young age, and you are getting push-back from the rubes…who else
you gonna call?
One of the nice things
about the United States has been the separation of military from civilian life.
Traditionally, we have wanted civilian control of our military. And, for what
used to be obvious reasons, we explicitly did not want our military to be used
domestically…against its countrymen.
But the new
educators know best. When they aren’t screwing
the kids, they want to nuke their parents.
