Dead Babies

Dead babies. Approximately one million abortions  are performed in the United States each year. Roughly one-third of American women have an abortion by age 45. Yet Katha Pollitt, a left-wing columnist has authored a new book “Pro: Reclaiming Abortion Rights” in which she avers that momentum is on the side of abortion opponents. Most in the mainstream media who’ve reviewed the book are lavishing it with effusive praise, touting its “intellectual vigor” and “moral clarity”, etc. Many take the opportunity to expound on their own abortions. The author is actually upset that even many “pro-choicers” speak of abortion as regrettable or even tragic and that anyone should believe that it should only be chosen after serious consideration.
Yet it is the virulent “pro-choice” minority that somehow convinced the Supreme Court to rule that every state in the country must adhere to something at least similar to their desired policy.
Pollitt and her fellow  Kool-Aid drinkers actually claim that a living human organism lacks any moral standing because it is “the size of a lima bean.” Well, I guess size does matter. A matter of life and death, apparently. So much for the weak, the defenseless, the little guy or gal. (Especially the gal in many parts of the world. Female babies have been famously aborted in China, and in large swaths of the world young females have their clitorises cut out to deny them sexual pleasure. But, come to think of it, they’re about the size of a lima bean too, so no big deal). Yes, trivial matters concerning conception and the soul are moot depending on your size! Well, even that doesn’t matter as she goes on to state that abortions should be a viable alternative to contraception and should be legal thru the full term. And she seems to be impatient with the continued existence of pro-lifers. Well, that actually is consistent, as she is impatient with the existence of millions of “fetuses” as well. Intellectual rigor and moral clarity, you know.
In reviewing this book, Slate’s Hanna Rosin writes that, “frankly, in 2014, it should be no big deal that in a movie a young woman has an abortion…and it’s no big deal.”
That is simply not true. “Ladies,” your mother could have taken away your “right to choose” by exercising her own. Is that not a “big deal?”
Instead of blasting those they disagree with and thanking the Supreme Court, perhaps they should be thanking….their mothers.

The National Endowment for Abortion

January 22, 2016-

The National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) Announces Abortion As ‘Performance Art’ With the New Broadway Play, “It’s Just a Fetus, Cletus.”
The play will probe new ground and push the envelope of what’s ‘acceptable’ to the American public by having actual abortions performed live on a set that resembles a Catholic church.
An NEA spokeswoman stated for the record that, “For hundreds of years the vast majority of people around the world haven’t accepted homosexual unions as a substitute for a man and wife because they are incapable of producing children on their own, which, they claim, is the very reason that two different sexes exist. With this play we clearly show that even a significant number of heterosexual people don’t want to reproduce, and that they do want to show everyone how inclusive their non-reproduction strategies are.”
Some more aggressive pro-choice organizations are handing out “Have You Killed Your Kid Today?” or “No pants, no panties, no problem! Let’s get ‘em out! Minors welcome.”  bumper stickers.
A few abortion ‘clinics’ around the country have even started handing out game cards to their clients. “Get them punched for every abortion you have and start accruing points towards winning such great gifts as a lifetime (yours, fortunately, not your babies) subscription to ‘NARAL Monthly’ magazine…you’ll love the centerfolds.”
The 'Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice' (RCRC) members are proudly pro-choice.  An offshoot of this group is the 'Spiritual Youth for Reproductive Freedom' (SYRF) comprised of kids as young as 16. According to the RCRC website, they are part of the ‘reproductive justice community’ (which does not include, it should be noted, any babies that have ever been aborted). They are against the ‘pain-capable Unborn Child Protection Act’ which would prohibit abortions after the five month mark of pregnancy or more, except under certain conditions.
“When you want a holy abortion, let the Spirit move you to RCRC. We’ll do our best to make you feel special…on our sacred honor!”

Abortion...of Logic

New York City is dispensing the ‘morning after pill’ to girls as young as 14 at more than 50 public high schools, sometimes even before they have had sex. (But nothing to infer there!).

Sure, they can’t give the kids aspirin without their parents consent, but why would they need parental consent to hand out a  hormonal drug cocktail that snuffs out potential life?

The conventional wisdom for this policy is that “kids nowadays simply aren’t going to abstain from sexual intercourse” or some version thereof. Many of the kids who are handed the pill are under 16. In most states, that’s the age for statutory rape. New York City’s schools already offer regular birth control pills and condoms, but apparently that’s not near enough. Need those emergency ‘abortion’ pills, too.

Dr. Cora Breuner, a Seattle physician and member of an American Academy of Pediatrics’ committee on teen health, has said emergency contraception is safe and effective “if you use it in a timely fashion. It provides relief or solace to a young woman or man who has made a mistake but doesn’t want to have to live with that mistake for the rest of their lives.”

One thing is clear. If this pill is used in a timely fashion, it is safe… to believe that it doesn’t provide relief or solace to the potential young women or men who didn’t make a mistake- just were the innocent result of one- and who don’t now have a “rest of their life” to live.

Remember what your school is teaching you, kids. You don’t have to deal with the consequences of your own actions!

And the cheapening of life continues unabated, as difficult as it is for some of us to conceive.

Non-Viable Logic

Many courts now bend over backwards to protect the ‘rights’ of alleged murderers. And , in some cases, convicted murderers. These same courts often bend over backwards, forwards and any other way one cares to name to protect ‘abortion rights’. (An inalienable right from God? Perhaps Jefferson, et. al., forgot to single this one out. They meant to protect life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness…and unfettered abortion. “Sorry, our bad”).

It does seem a tad odd to this parochial, red-state mind that a 15 year old can walk into an abortion clinic, wearing, shall we say, a ‘peace’ belt buckle and butterfly tattoo… and not much else…and kill her kid…sorry, ‘non-viable tissue mass’ without breaking a law or even having to notify her parents’. (Say, ‘non-viable tissue mass’ is an interesting phrase given that every single human being that has ever lived was also a ‘non-viable tissue mass’ at that same point in their lives/gestation, etc. by their very definition. Yes, libs, every one who has ever lived has proved the stupidity and falseness of that heinous, callous, mean-spirited euphemism of yours. Billions and billions of times over).

Yet, if that same girl were to light up a cigarette…the horror. She’d be mocked, chastised and rebuked, if not charged; her parents would be notified, and the business where she bought the cigs from might be fined, banned from selling all tobacco products for a month, perhaps exposed on t.v. and held up for general ridicule and contempt.

Logic is not a strong suit of liberal dogma.
